Our Story
Theatre Blues is a Medical Scrubs brand from Indonesia. In 2020, we started Theatre Blues, from two very different worlds, one of us comes from medicine, the other from engineering. You might know us as Dokmin and Shopmin. Though our paths were different, we were both shaped by pivotal experiences that opened new possibilities in our lives. None of that would have been possible without the kindness of people who lent us a hand when we needed it most, sometimes without even realizing it. That's why Theatre Blues exists: to carry forward the help we once received, and to be that hand for someone else.
Hi! We are Dokmin and Shopmin, co-founders of Theatre Blues.
Our story began in 2020 with a very real problem: Dokmin needed medical scrubs that were actually comfortable and stylish enough to keep up with high-paced hospital routines, while still looking sharp and professional. Shopmin an engineering graduate with a knack for business, saw the perfect opportunity to make it happen. Combining our distinct backgrounds, we set out to build a solution.
With a lot of love and help from our family and close friends, Theatre Blues was born. Today, we are endlessly grateful that our brand has grown alongside customers that feels like a community of friends in medicine.

We want to foster conversations and share stories that hopefully give you the confidence to begin, the tools to grow, and the spark to dream a little further. The Operations Team (Led by Shopmin):
Our dedicated trio (two men and one woman) ensures that every detail of your experience is handled with care. From helping you select the perfect fit to pack and check your orders, they are the backbone of our daily operations. We believe in growing our team’s skills as well, which is why they take time out each week for in-office English lessons.
The Marketing & Creative Team (Led by Dokmin):
Balancing the intense demands of healthcare and creativity, this squad consists of two medical doctors and one marketing assistant. Discussion and decisions often made in the quiet hours between the hospital night shifts. These creative people conceptualize our creative collaborations and connect with the medical community on both national and international scale.
