Understanding cardiovascular problems, especially in emergency settings, is essential for general practitioners and healthcare professionals. Theatre Blues gets the opportunity to be involved in The 24th Cardiovascular Symposium and Workshop (SYMCARD) as a platform to address this need by providing updated knowledge and hands-on learning in cardiovascular medicine. Organized by the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia in collaboration with the Department of Cardiology and Vascular Medicine FKUI and Pusat Jantung Nasional Harapan Kita(PJNHK), this annual event continues to build on the success of its previous editions.

The theme for this year focuses on providing comprehensive updates and practical mastery in cardiology for general practitioners, specialists, and medical students. The curriculum is divided into intensive segments, including a two-day Symposium covering critical topics such as Cardiovascular Risk in Diabetes and Emergency Management. For those seeking technical proficiency, the event features a specialized ECG Course and high-tech workshops, including the POCUS  Taking place throughout January 2026 on the 17th, 18th, 23rd, 24th, and 25th, SYMCARD is designed in a hybrid format, combining both online and offline sessions to reach participants from across Indonesia. The program offers a well structured learning experience, ranging from symposium discussions on key topics such as cardiovascular risk in diabetes and emergency management, to more focused training sessions. Participants also have the opportunity to join specialized courses like ECG interpretation, as well as hands-on workshops including POCUS (Point-of-Care Ultrasound) session and the exclusive Harvey Workshop, which utilizes the most advanced cardiopulmonary patient simulator in Indonesia.
